About UsThe Venice Flying Club was formed in 2015 to allow pilots to share in the excitement and benefits of owning an aircraft, without the cost and responsibility of sole ownership.
Our club consists of ten members with various backgrounds and experience in flying, ranging from recreational to commercial pilots. Some of our members are locals, while others are seasonal residents of the Sarasota/Venice area. We meet monthly to discuss club business, share education and experiences, and just talk aviation. In addition, our club also includes CFIs approved in our plane, to easily enable enriching the skills of our members at an affordable cost. The club uses the HoldShort reservation system to schedule all flights and to alert the club of any squawks and scheduled maintenance/inspections.
